- Each sleep cycle lasts approximately 90 minutes.
- Waking up at the end of a sleep cycle helps you feel more refreshed.
- For example, if you go to bed at 10:45 PM, you should wake up at the end of a sleep cycle (e.g., 5 cycles later at 6:00 AM).
- Similarly, if you want to wake up at 6:00 AM, you should go to bed 6 cycles earlier at 10:30 PM.
Note: The calculator adds 15 minutes to account for the time it takes to fall asleep. For example, if you go to bed at 10:45 PM, the calculator assumes you will fall asleep by 11:00 PM.
